Ms. Baranda has worked as an occupational therapist since 1991. She is one of
the few certified life care planners that has extensive experience in neurological
rehabilitation. Her experience includes working for Center for Comprehensive
Services, a leading Brain Injury Facility, for 8 years both as a supervisor and as a
therapist. Her practice in neurological rehabilitation has given her exposure to the
different facets of disability, influencing her judgement and critical thinking. With her
strong knowledge base and extensive experience in disability evaluation, the
following skills are put into motion with every case dealt with:
- Identifying level and extent of impairment
- Perspective of future needs of specific individuals after an
independence
- Keen analysis of gathered data
- Strong interpersonal skills while recognizing diversity of opinions
- Ability to provide an efficient and cost effective service to those served
Her knowledge and skills gained in practice areas such as acute and post-acute
rehabilitation, residential living, transitional care unit, outpatient, skilled nursing
home, and home health care has given her a comprehensive understanding of the
different levels of care and needs of individuals.

- Learning Problems and Developmental Disabilities
- Mental Health and Behavioral Problems including Alzheimer's
- Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, Peripheral Nerve Injury

- Fractures and Other injuries of Orthopedic nature
- Cognitive, Vision, Balance, and Perception problems that threaten the
- Assistive Technology, Home Assessment, Driver Rehabilitation
